Student Advocacy & Judicial Affairs

Student Advocacy & Judicial Affairs proactively supports the academic mission of Missouri S&T by providing advocacy, prevention, intervention and referral services to students in their living-learning-working communities. These services are designed to foster citizens who exercise personal responsibility, ethical decision-making and cross-cultural competency. Through relations, student conduct processes, and informational programming and intervention efforts, SA & JA strives to provide a safe, orderly and positive campus community

Student Advocacy & Judicial Affairs is responsible for adjudicating alleged violations of the Standard of Conduct. The Standard of Conduct defines behavior expected of all University of Missouri students. Student Advocacy & Judicial Affairs is committed to changing the thought and decision-making process of students through educational and developmental sanctions that challenge their decisions as adults.
